Wealth Management
Mallard Advisors asset management services offers investment advice on mutual funds (open-end, exchange-traded, closed-end), stocks, bonds, variable annuities, and options. Our client portfolios include taxable accounts, IRAs, 401(k)'s, 403(b)'s, 457's, 529 plans, trust, estate, and custodial accounts. We regularly work with clients' accountants, attorneys, and other advisors our clients may use.
You choose whether to engage us on a one-time, or ongoing basis. Ongoing clients seek professional assistance to manage the wealth they have built. You are as involved in the process as you desire. We work with you to create an Investment Policy Statement. Within the guidelines of that document, Mallard makes the investment recommendations, and with your approval Mallard executes them. Mallard also reports the quarterly performance. Our fees are based on a flat percentage of the investments we manage. The minimum account size for quarterly reports is $150,000. There are three levels of service available to clients seeking ongoing wealth management.
Our typical one-time client is not seeking to hand-off the full investment responsibility to Mallard. Rather they are seeking an investment checkup, or second-opinion. This often involves an initial meeting that includes data gathering. We will prepare a formal written review and recommendation, and will discuss it with you at a subsequent meeting. A flat, pre-arranged fee is charged for this service, based on the complexity of your desired review.
